Default zoom lens

hey guys i am thinking of these two zoom lenses would like your opinions
70-300mm f/4-5.6 APO Zoom Macro Super II and
the tamron 70-300mm f4-5.6 lv macro
from your experinces which one produces better image quality?
color accuracy and sharpness.
how about the prices?

in photographyreview tamron one rate better, but individually i prefer sigma one. didn't try tamron one but to me, sigma one is good enuf, just too bad bit heavy wif no tripod collar...

Heavy ? It is quite light already...

yar it's quite light, but putting it on ur 20D, wif ur grip, fully extended, then handheld for half hour, u'll get wat i mean.

(maybe i nvr NS, so i'm weak )

But you not going to hold that lens fully extended and stay there for half hour rite.. I have no problems with 10D with grip + 100-400mm IS lens.. that one is much heavier than with a 70-300mm sigma lens...

wa! how you all know i use 20d?....somemore know i serving NS....you guys some reconnaisance photographer huh?
anyways..thanks but i would want to know how you guys feel the image quality because thats the important stuff

erm... IS is diff... my hand shake easily

btw zig to me when stop down the image quality ok to me, u can see some photos i took here. bit USM was applied anyway.
