i read from all over the place, online and offline. but when i ask a friend to do the same for himself, he got lost. so i had to guide him personally to sink it those theories he found on web. so there are many methods of learning out there, just find the one that suits you best. and for that you must first understand yourself.

You can check out either Safra Photographic Club or Photographic Society of Singapore pss1950. They offer paid courses.Originally Posted by dreamsz
Hmm... I wonder why there is no Clubsnap Photographic Society... Sound too obvious right.... Anyway, there are informal groups within clubsnap. There are photo outings organized either by individuals or these informal groups. There are these monthly photography talk organized by CS itself and co-host by SAM. However, these talks do not touch on foundation but usually on about certain genres in photography or technique sharing on using Photoshop.
Looks like you probably need some sort of hand holding Learn from a veteran who know his/her stuff or attend paid courses whereby there is interaction with the instructor. You can check out the paid courses in cs that are usually catered to working adults and have theory and practical sessions.Originally Posted by dreamsz
Another way is to search the YouTube. Probably can search with words like photography basic, etc. Do sprinkle some salt before you absorb it in. Like with the rest of the Internet, not everything is accurate or correct.
thanks coolthoughts. Will take note of your suggestion.
