    How was Valentine's for everyone?

We had a homecooked dinner.. Baked a Plum Cake Tatin for dessert and had it with vanilla icecream

Hi Erin, nice shots. A bit more moody in tone for the recent ones, and I think it's a welcome change from your usual bright daylight shots. I think it works pretty well since it's all about comfort food.

    Thanks.
I've received some comments on how I should play with more shadows in my pics.
So, I tried using black reflectors in some of the pics to try and create a moody, rainy day sort of feel..

Made some Madeleines today.. Not too bad for a first try... and considering the fact that I used cheap $2 Daiso moulds

    bloody good.

surprised people can "share" their photos here and tell you what to do when yours look so much better than theirs.

advice is one thing, but i find that rude. maybe tht's just me.

A fig pie or fig tarts should be relatively easy and would present many options for improvisations. Cheers!
