Cute fella. I always have problem trying to shoot them as they take cover really fast.

Yup...always tried shooting them foraging along sbwr's track routes....but then 10m away and they go into cover. I have actually tried shooting them 4 times before as they are pretty common but failed. Need to catch them out in the open.

Did you shoot it from the bridge cos it looks like from a higher perspective?

Yup, shot from a much higher place. Else i'd not have been able to shoot it so close coz it will shy away. The bird was occupying 1/2 of my entire viewfinder at 500mm.

Thanks for the kind comments.

What time....well i usually start at 7AM and stop at around 10-11.

Bo lang coz the usual strollers don't go to these places. Seriously speaking, even for a normal and very accessible observation screen, they can just stroll to it, look and cannot see the hundreds of waders/shorebirds. Hope that one can walk slower and appreciate the beauty and any birds. Sometimes gotta stop and scan around.

Dunno is it coz of superior camoflage or what, a group of Singaporeans couldn't even see this big group of beauties having a sweet mass org*, they were asking me "Ah di, what you shoot ah?". http://www.pbase.com/sil83/image/34039484
Apparently, another group of ang mohs (tourists?) are better.....they were even attempting to ID.
