    if i buyin a lens from other ppl wat should i look out for??

    isit ok to buy sagma lens 18-200 for $475???

    i newbie need advice from u guys...

    I think you meant sigma.

    Standard lo. Check for fungus, focusing and is the aperture blades working etc.

    Motorised just means got af motor inside the lens. It's for those bodies that doesn't have af motor.
    Os is optical stabilization which i believe needs no explanation.

    Fyi, it's $535.++SGD for a Brand-New-Lens with Warranty somemore..., bro Melvin...
    Anything that can take pictures...happy already lor...(..but...Hasselblad_H5D-50 as my Workhorse)

    Wat only cost 5 plus for a new set???
    I just bought the Len from forum ppl. Faint.

    Keep it for my oct trip.
    Since can't get a gd buyer

    So fast you bought it liao...?? ( 12hrs ago post, about 4hrs you've bought it...) then no need to say further liao lor...just go and shoot to the fullest to make it more worth-while..., bro.

    must do a price check for every purchase, regardless whether brand new or from B&S.
    especially for B&S, must determine the price difference whether it is worth to buy brand new or 2nd hand.

    Yes...by now many should/might have been/seen B&S and notice this scenarios...and very the frankly is definitelynot sometimes but agree with Fiftymm, that's , MOST of the Times-High lah...and worst is once-in-a-while you can come across aiyoye..."Over-$Shot-High"ahhh...hahaha...!!!

    Since you are new, was going to suggest you get a new grey set from DD Electronics instead..... Could have been cheaper than 2nd hand plus you get warranty from the shop. Hope you got a good deal for your piece of glass. Enjoy!

    Dun knw abt the lens scare buy adi can not suit my d5000

    after i reach hm last nite i try it.
    And it so gd. Compare to my kit-len

    hehe..

    so to mi getting a 18-200mm is gd enough...

    I just wan to learn to b focus the things i wan to b sharp then the rest of the pic blur...

    Pretty much any lens could do tat if I'm not wrong even e kit lens 18-55mm
    The 18-200mm is meant as an all rounder lens, it's convenient and covers from wide to tele range.
    If u dun nd e far reach, other lenses would suit ur needs better than e 18-200
    To you, they may be just a pet but to them, u r their everything
