Today attended the 1st IPT at Krangji FCC. The place is few blocks away from Yew Tee MRT.
Not bad for the newly built facilities. The waiting area, lockers and bench are very new.
The score recording method for the IPPT are old fashion. The center never have the upgraded wireless scoring method. So have to wait for a while for the results. The no of personals attended the IPT are around 20s and for RT I judged around 200 people. Maybe it is a new center.

Because nowadays IPT bo hua already, you don't get paid and if you fail after IPT, still have to go RT. If go RT, still can get rank pay, just clear 20 sessions and that's it.

I would rather chose IPT because of the late starting time. Actually, my boss encourage this so that I won't need to take 1 1/2 hour time off for RT. For IPT, I need a 1/2 hour time off.
If I work a bit harder, who knows I can achieve better PPT within 10 sessions and no need to go for the 8 extra RT in the last 3 months. The most important point is you must fail badly for the 1st IPPT/IPT. The system will pass you if you put in more effort. Somemore the 10 session can be arranged throughout the 9 months.

After ns, most of us dont stays fit n even u r fit, u also can die from running. Some bosses not so 'kind' to let us take time off. I last time need to take half day leave n for rt programs, my legs got injure n swollen some time. If war comes, we can run but we cant hide. 1 bomb at sea enough to clear sg. Train us so fit also wasting tax payer $.
    Only Sony device mostly, haha!

    Gents.

This is not about money or is it worth it, about national service and your responsibility as a citizen and to yourself.

Keeping fit, as a minimum, you owe it to yourself and your family. Remember, you become a burden when you can't hake care of yourself.
