Dear minolta shooters,
So glad that news are made public on the new 7D. Just to inform you keen readers on what is the situation of camera price in Thailand Bangkok. I suppose that most of you would know where is MBK in Bangkok. Basically, there are 3 main photo shops there. Sad to say, only the ground floor have stock of Minolta products. New and old. All lens and accessories are more expansive than Singapore with the exception of 2 lens, 80-200 G and 17-35 G for brand new. After VAT rebate, approximately 1900-2000 and 2200-2300 respectively which is about 600-800 cheaper. Cool right. Canon 10D also has ground breaking price. Brand new about 2100 whereas Nikon D70 with kit about 2200, including VAT. They are really cheap but with Thailand Local Warranty. What can anyone ask for. |

ask them to file a P.P.10 form, attach the receipt there. Only available at "Return of VAT for tourist" shop. Go to airport to claim. Have to check out of the immigration before you can receive hard cash. But be aware that for VAT refund more than 50,000 baht, can only use check or something. You need to check this part out again.
