Default Lomo LCA - Blank?

Hi there,
I recently decided to give the 2 lomos my brother owns (a LCA and a cybersampler) a whirl. Was very excited about it until I got it back from the shop. The 2 rolls from the LCA came out blank.

I'm pretty new to all this (or even to film camera, in general, growing up in the digital generation).. does anybody know what's happening? It's such a pity because I was really excited about the LCA.. I read up quite a bit before I put in the film. I'm sure that I loaded the film correctly, set the ASA speed correctly, etc etc, so I have no idea why!

I'd like to give the LCA another try.. but this time I want to do everything right. P.s. the film comes out 'pure blank', not black.. just looks like blank film with nothing on it at all. Sigh.

I presume you are shooting negatives? Pure blank and not pure black means that the 2 rolls were totally unexposed. You must have loaded the film incorrectly;Film leader not properly secured on the sproket.

The batteries in the camera could be flat. Flat battery = shutter that doesn't open with though everything sounds like it's working fine. To check, press shutter release button half way down. The LEDS in the viewfinder will light up.
