Is it possible to operate the printer if one cartridge completely runs out of ink? My colour cartridge has run dry, but the printer insists that I replace it before I can proceed with printing, even though I only need b&w output.
Tried to remove the colour cartridge and continue printing, but no go either. Bought the printer 2nd hand, so don't have a user manual. Ideas, anyone?

sorry the printer is flawed in this aspect,
you can fill the colour tank with water and it will still runn, just make sure you dont print in colour. erm. try the lyson cleaning cartridges, they are good for back ups |

Hi !
I am currently an epson 1290 user If the cartridges ink runs very very low, the printer will not print. This is NORMAL. You just got to change the cartridge if you want to print. Hope that's help. |
