Default First Trial with KM A1 - SG Zoo Outting

Got my new A1 this Monday, quite excitied about it.

Yesterday I jointed the SG Zoo Outting group to try it out. It's the first time I used this camera, still learning.

Here are some pics I took. All pics straight out of camera with slight sharpening and cropped with CS.

I know they are not that good yet, still leaning how to use it.

Comments are welcome.

Cheers!

yr camera was not aiming at the tiger but at the back.. the grass looks more sharp than the tiger.
next time , set yr camera to C mode... lock on at the tiger's face ... it will follow sharpest at all time...... and u can take the picture with full sharpest...gd luck...

it was a nice picture ... hee hee by the time we reach there , the tiger are taking their afternoon nap...... we went back at 4pm .. and they are still sleeping!

Thanks for the suggestion. Actually the tiger was walking back and forth so I just kinda aimed and shot. I used C mode btw, but the pic came out like that. If only this mad tiger could stop just for a couple of seconds

Anyway, guess you guys had a lot of fun over there too.

See you guys next weekend if possible.

Cheers!

It's hard to say whether the focus was on the tiger or not because digicams have deeper DOF. But the shot will improve if higher shutter speed was used, as there's excessive motion blur.

Cheers!

I agreed. More like a motion blur than OOF.
