Managed to try Z3 since my friend bought it recently. Didn't feel it's that great in improvement. Didn't quite have a chance to really test the anti-shake, but I wasn't quite impressed by it.
I guess if u're already a Z2 user like me, u probably wouldn't find much reason to switch to a Z3, esp if u've already gotten used to handling Z2. Z3's body is kinda different & I found myself having to get used to the feel of my grip, the menu directional buttons, & the location of the macro & flash function buttons. If u're a new Z-series user, I'd still recommend trying both Z2 & Z3 out before making ur choice. Not sure what's the pricing in the market for both cams, but I personally don't think the price difference is that justified. |

Actually i did tried the Z3 too during the Comex.. did hav a comfort grip, good zoom, anti-shake works well n also the Auto Focus is really impressive..
. However, regards to the Z2 n Z3... think there shld be some differences in image quality cos both havin difference kind of Zoom lens. price difference is abt 100+-, but cos the Z3 got the A-S so its a must hav for those who dun wanna use a tri-p. Actually in Dpreview, the Z2's colours is about the same as Pana's FZ10 which kind of impressive for a cam whic is abt 300 cheaper frm the FZ10. ![]() |

I've been very impressed with the super-macro mode of the Z3. It can shoot as close as .4" to the lens. Could the z2 do that?
