hmm... seems like 2x512 + portable harddisk is good combination.... how about substitute portable harddisk with archos AV480?

The poll has missed out an entire class of devices - the stand alone memory card to CD-R(W) (and now DVD - R(W) ) writers. I use a Apacer CP100 writer. And make TWO copies on seperate CDRs every time I dump a CF card. I don't trust those HD based devices - all my valuable photos bouncing around in my bag on ONE relatively fragile hard disk. No thanks. On longer trips i've posted the 2nd CDR dump disks home and kept one with me. Offsite backup :-) |
