    Default Can a Olympus flash work on NIKON d7000 body ?

    Hi all.
    Just wondering, can a Olympus brand flash work on a nikon body ie. D7000
    Using Hot shoe.
    I did a google search, http://www.ehow.com/facts_7468100_ca...ikon-d90_.html
    says can, but im puzzled by how to manually set it working.
    Hope someone can help out

    The said flash will then work as manual flash, it cannot detect how far and brightness needed or required for the lens and scene that you are taking. So there are two ways to actually use the flash. First is to fired the flash in full power... which is not always nice to do because it might be too harsh. Second, if the flash had controls on it, then you can manually tune down the power by manipulating with the controls (buttons, switches, etc).

    In the past, we shoot with manual flash like nobody's business, but nowaday TTL, eTTL, etc, was spoiling us
