Default Who are the X700 user here?

Who are the X700 user here?
hope to gather a list and if possible we can share tips on the x700.
although it is a old cam, i believed this workhorse still has its followers!
so guys fall in!

Well, I have one, at least theoretically. It has been in for repair since I got it, and that was... um... four months ago?

I never use the X700 before but always wonder why there are so many fan. Guess it's special any fan here like to enlighten me about the X700?

It's just a good camera -- one of the best manual focus Minoltas. With its "final check" metering, you can even use old Auto Rokkors (without aperture coupling) and get perfect TTL exposure. It has TTL flash, and is compatible with a nice motor drive. A well rounded camera all in all.

yoyoyo, mememe. it's my fav camera now. couple with a MD rokkor PF 50mm f1.7 lens and i'm ready to shoot.....lolz

oh ya.....X-700 is a great camera...very solid especially with the battery pack i am using it with.......grip is very good .........i hav a range of lens.....from a 20mm,28mm,35mm,50mm,300mm,500mm(mirror),1000mm(mir ror).........they are all screw on lens.........great lens too.......they are either russian lens or german lens
i love my 20mm....hee hee.....i just bought a 2X extender ....makes my 1000mm ...into a 2000mm.....
its my favourite camera......even compared to a canon

i also just got a 2x teleconvertor recently!! *lol*
now looking to get a 4000af flash and to replace some of the lens into minolta rokkor ones! *lol*
a very good all round cam for me!
anyone got their lens in singapore?
i got all my stuff thru ebay.

hi there, just gotten my x-700 recently. What kind of russian lens are you using? where can I get them? How's the picture quality?
