Need advice for scanner within S$500 budget

Hi,

I am thinking of buying a scanner for scannning color brochures and other general scanning. Budget of S$500. Which brand or model would you recommend. Thanks for your adivce.

Can try the Canoscan 5200F. Flatbed and goes for $260. Resolution is 2400X4800 and it also does film scanning at 2400dpi. So far am quite happy with the scans

how about the epson 3170,any idea how much it cost.is it better than Canon 5200F?
