    Thanks!
    i guess u need a lightmeter to test ....
but then, u need to test that ur light meter is consistant, so u need consistant lights ...
then u need to test that those consistant lights are really consistant ....

Consistency....This is how you do it

    1. Set the Stobe to a desired value (ie half power)

    2. Put your flash meter at your subject and then fire the strobe

    3. Let say it registers a reading of F5.6 at 1/30 sec

    4. Give some time for the strobe to recharge

    5. Fire again.... do you always get F5.6 at 1/30? (Testing distance must be the same always)

What I meant by consistency is that everytime the strob fires at that preset output, it should deliver the same amount of light to your subject.

    Thanks!

Cos it would be very difficult to shoot if you have one shot with ie F5.6, and then the next shot, the flash give you F8 or worst still F2.8...

Hmmm.... I think can make a trip down to Eastgear liao...

Thanks for your kindness. However, I will be traveling next week and will not have time for at least 3-4 weeks...

Actually was just wondering if there is any successful portrait done using the studio set as I seen lots of interested users when it was first announced... and don't seems a lot had purchased the set!

Default People Pics taken with the EastGear Lights

these were taken lit solely with the eastgear lights. If you're taking head shots or 1-2 people half body, can do pretty decent stuff.
