I will be heading to Korea in early October (8-9th) and is planning to spend about 2 days to walk around to explore a national park for the autumn foliage. Any recommendations? Based on the autumn foliage forecast 2003, Mt. Sorak is the first place to see autumn foliage. Any other good parks worth a visit?

Besides lugging a tripod up, would a monopod be good enough? There are a few waterfalls to take and I'm using a 300D. Trying not to bring too much gear around since will probably walk a lot. Can anyone advise?
