Maybe you want to check with Gitzo's sole distributor in Singapore.

Thanks daredevil123 and giantcanopy for the leads. I am passing this info to my friend. May be he should consider other alternatives instead of looking for this limited edition.

    Cheers,

There are tons of good strong tripods out there. $4k for a tripod is just too much IMHO.

$4k for an over-rated tripod for it's price.

With a $4k budget, I can simply get a Photoclam Geared Head and pair it with a Gitzo Carbon Fibre series.

erm... with 4k can get the Acra Swiss cube and pair it with a Gitzo CF legs. With that kind of money who needs to buy Photo calm? LOL.

Photoclam is good enough, even some old birds who do commercial architectural photography services are using it. Maybe the rest of the money can spend it on wifi- wireless shutter release technology ? I remembered Gitzo have one of this..

well, when money is no object, it is always nice to go for the expensive option, regardless of value.
