    Maybe if the body can doing a lot more cleaner high iso shots, AF faster, faster fps, higher cache, then i would consider changing body. (In order of preference)

    And also personally i feel if u wanna upgrade body, dun upgrade a notch higher, upgrade more, else it is not worth it.
    Whats the point of upgrading D3100 -> D5100 or D90 -> D7000 or D300s <-> D7000? it is not worth the investment.

    I personally feel that unless you are printing images at its 100% size, you won't actually need "better lens", unless you need something that the current is unable to deliver. and IMO, better skills and different perspective will be more useful in the long run.

    *currently I'm not a believer of better body/lens = better shots*

    If you know what you like to shoot already: Lens > Body.
    If you don't know what you like to shoot yet: Body > Lens.

    Lens limit the kind of photos I can take more than that of a body.

    my 8 cents.

    Agree. Dx camera more or less have the same performance to produce the same photo quality, the price difference btw them is due to body material, more button for easy access, bigger more garang look etc.. If upgrade to fx its another different story, pic quality will be difference, etc bokeh effect, dof ..

    Im still using a 450D with 28mm and 85mm f1.8

    Most of the time my friend ask if I had secretly upgraded to a pro body and lens after seeing the photos

    I only improved my shooting technique

    Invest in lens is a better choice for me
