Default New Joinet / Starter here

Hi all.. I'm relatively new to this.. Just bought my first cam barely few months back.. Thought i start by humbly introducing myself here..

    A little self-intro:
Started myself off with a Eos550d kit 2 lens.. Enjoys taking fotos of erm.. Food and portraits.. Simply fascinated by the "bokeh" effects generated.. But still learning though.. Photo taking usually happens on weekend when I go out with gf / family / friends as I'll probably be busy working on a weekday..

To all users of CS here.. 请多多指教.. And if I sound rude or noobish.. Pls do not hesitate to correct me..

    HI and welcome to CS
You've bought a good camera so make sure you use it well.
Also wish to correct your usage of the term 'bokeh effects'.
What I assume is that you're able to isolate the subject better through thinner depth-of-field.
The bokeh is referring to the quality of the out-of-focus area.

Just as an example, a phrase like "the bokeh is smooth" is appropriate, but not "that photo has more bokeh"
