Actually it's a good camera. That shot was done on tripod, set to night mode with flash off. That's all. No credit to user.

A good pair of eyes beside the camera

I had some night shot to share 2. Taken during ND 2004 at my friend house without Tripod (own my FZ10 for one week only and also my first camera), the 1st pcs at 4-6 x zoom and 2nd pcs without zooming.

Comments are most welcome

Er you are not 63 for sure! Very steady. Both pics are nice. First one better; wonderful fireworks pic! Both have noise. However, has beautiful lights captured. Not sure other Lumix member comments.

I like both pics.

PS: I know most photographers comment on pic noise; Check these comments and you would agree why I like the two pics.

Comment 1 on noise

Comment 2 on FZ10/20 pic noise

Hehe EchoGear didn't read this thread!

Btw, do you think doing that waterfront shot of yours in Panoramic would be nice? I have been thinking of it since early Jan 04 when I bought this LC33.
The Panorama Maker software is good for this.

Bro, me no pro lah , just like everyone here who deeply fall in with photography and taking it as a hobby. Still learning from all the seniors here you know.

Maybe next time we can organize a pana outing how's about that? Last time saw similiar thread but I think due to poor response, already closed shop.

Cheers

Hi guys, may I know at which mod you guys use for your night shot ?
I understand that higher ISO level will create more noise for night shot, so how can we slove this problem? any tips

Newbiz question hope you guys don't mind

(Pls let me know if I should post this question at another section and not here?)

I set mine to ISO50. Night shot mode and 2secs pause before i takes the pic.
So that the camera would be still at that time.

Hmmm I also play with the Ev settings. Normally I would put it slightly under expose to let more light into the camera though

Just by trial and error, fiddling with the camera...
