    Default Battery grip ori vs oem

    Any one using oem one from e bay? Is the quality alot diff from original ?

    Not sure for D7000, but my Phottix batt grip for D90 that I bought from eBay works like wonders. Build wise is also rather solid.

    For magnesium alloy bodies like D300s and D700, the original battery grips are also magnesium alloy. 3rd party ones are just plain plastic.

    Not sure about D7000, since it is only half magnesium alloy.

    yep. i bought the original one. Its magnesium alloy and weather sealed.
