No problem I'm a newbie too, so let's learn from each others.

Are you now experimenting with off-camera flash set in a different place.

You mean the photos from Hua Yu Wee? Nope, all were natural light. No flash use.

Any comments in terms of composition and so on are welcome! Disclaimer, this was taken with my Nikon D60 with 35mm f/1.8 prime lens. Not exactly the most suitable lens for food photography so forgive me.

This is the stinkbomb beef burger I ordered at MyBurgerLab in Kuala Lumpur. It's an amazing burger with blue cheese. If you guys ever go KL I strongly recommend giving MyBurgerLab a try even though it's quite far from city centre.

imo, you could lower yourself slightly to take the photo. just slightly. also the chopsticks can be closer to the bowl.

Thanks for the comment Lawrence!! Will take note on the chopstick part but as for lower down the angel, I prefer to take it a bit higher to show more surface of the food.

Thanks for the recommendation. As for the photo, it work for me. Focus spot on, nice colour and able to see all the ingredients in the burger.
