Default Man Utd XII: Legacy continues with Historic No.19 n still Counting...

Manchester United wins historic 19th Title (2010/2011)

    Glory, glory, Man United,
    Glory, glory, Man United,
    Glory, glory, Man United,
And the reds go marching on, on, on.
Just like the Busby Babes in Days gone by
We'll keep the Red Flags flying high
You've got to see yourself from far and wide
You've got to hear the masses sing with pride
    United! Man United!
We're the boys in Red and we're on our way to Wem-be-ly
    Wem-be-ly! Wem-be-ly!
We're the famous Man United and we're going to Wem-be-ly
    Wem-be-ly! Wem-be-ly!
We're the famous Man United and we're going to Wem-ber-ly
    In Seventy-Seven it was Docherty
    Atkinson will make it Eighty-Three
And everyone will know just who we are
They'll be singing 'Que Sera Sera'
    United! Man United!
We're the boys in Red and we're on our way to Wem-be-ly
    Wem-be-ly! Wem-be-ly!
We're the famous Man United and we're going to Wem-be-ly
    Wem-be-ly! Wem-be-ly!
We're the famous Man United and we're going to Wem-be-ly
    Glory Glory Man United
    Glory Glory Man United
    Glory Glory Man United
As the Reds Go Marching On! On! On!
    Glory Glory Man United
    Glory Glory Man United
    Glory Glory Man United
As the Reds Go Marching On! On! On!
    Glory Glory Man United
    Glory Glory Man United
    Glory Glory Man United
As the Reds Go Marching On! On! On!

    Champions!

Manchester United have won a record 19th English league title.

The Reds secured the trophy – the team’s 12th under Sir Alex Ferguson’s stewardship – by coming from behind to draw 1-1 at Blackburn Rovers on Saturday. United captain Nemanja Vidic will now lift the Barclays Premier League trophy next Sunday at Old Trafford after the Reds face Blackpool.

In a topsy-turvy, roller-coaster ride of a season, the experience of Sir Alex's squad ultimately paid dividends in the title run-in, with last weekend’s win over Chelsea effectively sealing the silverware. Perhaps the biggest contribution to this 19th league title, though, was the team’s sparkling home form. Of United’s 17 Old Trafford league games so far this season, United have won 16 and drawn one. What’s more, the Reds conceded just 10 goals in those games… and not one in the first 45 minutes.

United’s home form meant a few sucker-punches on the road could be absorbed. Not that there were many defeats, mind you. In fact, Sir Alex’s men didn’t lose in the league until February, at Wolves, but then lost at Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal. The real stumbling block was the side’s inability before Christmas to turn away draws into wins: six of the seven away games in 2010 yielded only a point.

Of course, the only statistic that counts now is the one that says Manchester United are champions of England. Again.

Following United’s historic 19th title win, Liverpool FC have started a campaign to have certain motorway signs removed from the M6, which are naturally upsetting to the club. So, the authorities over there have predicted our record 19 titles long time ago when they put up the signboard!

lol this can't be real right?

Oh man it turn out that we din't even need a draw yesterday cos Chelsea drew 2-2 with Newcastle. More hilarious results; Arsenal and pool got beaten at home! Liv really amazing. They went from a club celebrating a 4th place finish like a title win to qualifying for that Europapapya league!

Some brave Man Utd supporters were at Anfield and unfurled this banner ahead of Liverpools' defeat to Spurs. Heard subsequently they got ejected by the security. Takes lotsa courage to sneak in and do the damage. Brave guys with so much courage.

Wah power, operating behind enemy lines. They're the commandos of the Red Army; commando fans! Liv still playing in that lousy stadium? I tot they boast that their new stadium will be ready by 2010! Notice the beam/pillar in the stadium, only lousy stadiums still have that.

Hey at least someone from Liverpool won an EPL title; MICHAEL OWEN!

end up with 1 goal and this goal cost $50 million... wat a super-expensive goal.. he should keep the ball and put into his safe.. when he retires, something for him to feel proud of.. '$50million ball'
