Hello all,

Refer to this thread for the origin of this event. I am trying to organise an open house of my newly set-up (2 mths old) studio for CSers.

Date: 5 September 2004 (Sunday)
Time: 12 - 6pm

It's a free-and-easy-organise-your-own activity thing. You can drop by to have a look at my portfolios, bring your portfolios to trade pointers, chit chat, share experience, bring your own camera to shoot, or simply hang around.

Drinks will be provided. Sorry, no more tiramisu.

Clarifications regarding the studio shoot
Crysania is coming to the end of her make-up course, and need to submit a portfolio with 10 makeover photos. Each makeover will feature a different look. The gals kindly agreed to help out as her models. Crysania will take about one hour per makeup, which means each gal will have about one hour of photoshoot (if they want).

I am the photographer by default, so that Crysania will get one consistent set of before-and-after photos for each makeup. While it is open to each gal to choose to work with other photographers they are comfortable with, one at a time, it appears that most of them are shy and prefer to have their photos only taken by female photographers.

Hence please check with the gals individually if you want to take their pictures on Sunday.

The premise for this event is STILL that everyone works on a free basis. Free makeup services, free photography services, free modelling services. The purpose is to work together and learn from each other.

So I am open if photographers want to bring your own models: gf/bf/spouse/kids and try your own studio shoot. I can assist or be your photographer if you want.

This is the first time and probably the only time I am organising this event, so any feedback on how better to organise it, what may work or what won't, or suggestions are welcome.

Please help to make it a berry happy event.

It's free and easy. Stroll in and out at your own timing. Timing is still tentative at this point. If there are more models/photographers then we'll start earlier.
