UV filter for Z3

Hi!
Is ther UV filter avail for Z1,2,3?
What kind of Filters do I need for Z1/3?

u will need a lens adaptor in order to put the UV filter..
the thread size is 45mm to 52mm. (yr filter should be 52 mm size)
if i not wrong.. all the Z series whould use the same adaptor size.

Hi, just went to MS color yesterday.
The Z3 uses a different lens adapter (ZCA-300) from the Z1/Z2.

And they claim they have no stock in singapore yet.
Hmm wonder if CP have or not?

Anybody manage to get the adapter for the Z3 yet?

oh ya.. today i try at the comex wif my adaptor..
but can't fit in..
sorri for the wrong info. lens adaptor is same for Z1/2 but not Z3..

will the lens adaptor be expensive? how much it normally cost of Z1/2 and i heard a filter cost around $14 ?

for any lens adaptor... price will be around 20+ to 30...(3rd party)
if getting the original minolta (wide angle converter) no need to buy (3rd party)adaptor. cos it come as a set with it.
n filter are all standard price. used for any other SLR/DSLR lens. depending on lens thread.

Yah, the adaptor for Z1 and Z2 can be bought at $20 at this shop photoCam, 2 shops besides CP at penisula. But dun buy anything else from there as they had cheated me before.

You can get UV filters at around $15. Other filters include circular polariser, close up filters, and other creative filters like stars and colours filter. Check at CP first then buy. Some shops not reliable.

ZCA-300, the original Minolta Z3 adapter will not be available for another 1 month (end Sept), as told by Minolta SGP. Hell, these guys are really slow!!!

Just hope the 3rd party ones come in soon.

Please update us if you manage to find the Z3 adapter in Singapore.

ok, just want to share for those who wants to buy. I just bought

1) Z1 adapter ring - $25
2) Tokina Circular PL 52mm - $30
3) Lens Cap 52mm - $5

I think the price is reasonable. Any comments?
Bought at Cathay Peninsula.
