I personally find the colourful waves too distracting and there are too many elements in the frame plus it's a very tight shot.
    Good attempt!

I think it is too tight on the composition specially on top, left and right.

Agree with derrickder the lights on the wafer is too distracting.

Bro, sometimes to get that desired shot, we need to wait for the right moment. Unless, you have very tight schedule, it'd be worth to wait a while and retake the shot without the boat causing the light trail.

Secondly, I do agree with the others here that the composition felt abit tight. If you don't have a wider lens, what you could do is take a few shots and stitch them together to make ur shot look wider.

The image looks a bit soft. Maybe it is due to unstable tripod, IS not switched off, or strong winds.
Colours wise they are vibrant and attractive.
Composition wise I agree with the others that it is too tight. A bit more space to the top and right would be better

What are you trying to present here? The messy reflections or the MBS? Nevertheless, it's neither here nor there.

If your focus is on the messy reflections, it spoils the entire photo IMHO.
If your focus is on the MBS, it is too tight. If I were you, I'd choose either one and apply the rule of third.

Well, based on what you wrote on your initial post. The photo did show your emotions; messy. Don't be disheartened, this is a good start.
