Default Does SG copyright rules apply to oversea model shooting in SG?

Was trying to request the Malaysia model to sign the Model Release Form after shooting, but end up getting this reply:

I'm regret to inform that all of the photo under organizer ate strictly prohibited from selling and competition.

We reserved the right from any consequences and pls do inform if there is any commercial deal for Agnes's photo out there. All of the photo from photo shooting is merely hobbies collection.

you are the creator of the photos, no one hire you except yourself, so you own the ownership of the photos, whether the model is Ang Moh or Chinese, local or from Timbuktu is not an issue, photos taken at local follow local law, photo use on where follow the law of the country.

and excuse me, any photo-shoot is for personal enjoyment, you want to post photos here and there is fine.

you want a model release? want to use for commercial usage, it is better to negotiate a new term and compensate accordingly.
