hello, erm jux wondering if there is any shops that you all can recommend for buying camera stuff? thx alot

haha... this is a perennial 'flame-war' question. just like if u ask which is better - nikon or canon... actually, all of us here got our own fav shops. some recommended places will be like mscolor at AMK central, CP (penin or marina branch) or Jn3:16 at funan. all these places, their pros and cons, are widely discussed in CS. my personal fav is mscolor for their price and good service.

point is, once u settled on one shop, try to get all your stuff regularly from there. once the owners or staff recognised u, u'll get better discounts. another suggestion is to hook up with any of ur frens who goes regularly to any of the shops above, and ask them to intro u to the shop on your first visit there. like dat, sometimes, they can give u a small discount when buying things on your first trip.

or u could do the age old thing..know wat u are looking for then go ard asking for the best price....
