Default Dust in my Point-and-shoot Camera

    Hi.
I notice the topic here are all mostly for professional cameras but anyway i am still trying to find out the answer for my little problem with my cheapo compact camera.

I have a Panasonic Point-and-shoot camera. I notice that there are a few hairline and dust which will show up on the LCD screen and also on the pictures taken. I have used those lens cloth to clean the lens exterior but with no success. and when i look carefully, i notice that there are a few specks of dust on the inside surface of the lens.

is there any place which can help me to clean the interior surface of the lens? and how much would it cost?

How old is it? If more than e.g. 5 years or so just get a new one.

it is less than 2 years old. I hope to use it for some more time before retiring it unless the repair cost is high.

I have ordered this camera from bhphotovideo.com and hence it was delivered to Singapore from the USA.
not too sure whether the local Panasonic Service Centre will take a look at it if it is not a local set.
and how much will they charge?

Not sure if they can do it for you but you can try the camera hospital. saw one lady bring her pns there to get a quote before. I've also fixed my stuff at the camera workshop before. Worth a try though.

They will service it, as for the charges, you can call them up and ask.
