Thread: Prosumer Digital Camera for Macro Work

Default Prosumer Digital Camera for Macro Work

Any advice on a good prosumer/consumer digital camera to capture images of microscopic/macro work.

I am getting a digital camera for my camera that can capture images of high magnification, i.e eye of a needle, needles tip.

This will be used in the office next to a microscope.

Any good brands or models that can achieve what I describe?

prosumer... SONY!!! F828!!! but just using it bare... think quite hard 2 see the eye of a needle... will need a closeup lens, den need a stable tripod with those macro positioning devices...

if you want to attach the camera onto the microscope, den i think i out of point already...

Nikon's mid to high range CoolPix digicam are famous for its macro capabilities. Nothing comes close. With proper adapter, u can also mount the cam onto microscope and telescope.
