Default Dimage 7 user, good news for ya.

Minolta announces DiMAGE 7 Firmware and DiMAGE Viewer Software Upgrade. I don't know when is it applicable in Singapore. Will keep ya update, mean time check this out :

Great News, but really expensive for the upgrades. Think we can buy a copy and share ?

What is "Storage-Class" USB interface?

Means that its a external disk drive as far as the USB driver on your computer is concerned.

What this means is that you should be able to plug the D7i into a windows XP or Mac OS9/10 machine and have the camera's CF card show up on the machine as an external disk with NO EXTRA drivers installed.

I'm hoping that will allow me, when traveling, to go into a Internet Cafe, plug the camera into a workstation and then upload the contents of the CF card back to my server at my office.
