buying the manfrotto 234 and a Markins clamp may cost more then the "Manfrotto 234 Swivel tilt head with Kirk Quick Release". if anybody keen, can start a non profit mass order to save a little on the shipping cost.

Bro DD123, the shop assistant showed it to me and really 234 is the ONLY one able to 'custom' fit to the Markins quick release quickshoe.

Do you meant to say i can just use my Markin plates onto the 234RC WITHOUT the need to buy the Markins quick release quickshoe?

BTW, TK selling the 234 tilt head for S$39!!!!

Best you all get from TK instead!

Also, i have to buy the Markins quickshoe to be attached to the Manfrotto monopod 234 tilt head.
Haha the $53 quote I got is for the RC version. The tilt head without the RC is $40, so TK is cheaper by $1

Hmm, first thing is, what are you using the monopod for and what's your setup?

You should be getting a tripod instead. there aren't many uses for the monopod.. Unless you really know why you need it.

Agreed...It can be hard to use a monopod if you don't know what it is for and how to use it.

Check this link out for how to use a monopod. http://www.outdooreyes.com/photo5.php3 See if it suits you. If it don't, then get a tripod instead. (do a search if you are going to ask which tripod to get )
Too many great equipments but too little quality photos. [My Flickr] | [My Blog]
