I have the Zing and used it on the D70 for some time. But decided to remove it and now in cold storage.

As Swimcraze pointed out, it makes your palms perspire 'cos of the constant close contact of the palm and the camera grip.

I don't think it's comfortable for people with sweaty palms.

I am using the Zing strap too. Feels great and but as the others mentioned, sometimes it does make your hand perspire. Still like it a lot except you need to remove it when you need to mount your cammie to a tripod.

A little OT here.
I don't like the base part of the Zing strap slipping off the base of the camera. Have been trying to find ways to secure it, without slipping out.

renegade - do you have such experience? Any suggestions how to secure it?

base part slipping off? u mean the part on the right side (just beneath the grip)? I don't find that a problem though. Only the screw (to the tripod mount) ... very troublesome when wanna use tripod.

Ya, that the part. I find it kind of uncomfortable.

When I go for shoots with a tripod, I replace that screw with the QR plate of the tripod. That should solve the problem.

Why can't use? Still can, the QR plate is screwed thru' the base strap hole onto the tripod screw of the camera.
Can still strap and carry the camera around. Only when mounted on the tripod via the QR is the strap free hanging.

I think we better take this OT discussion off this thread.
Perhaps we can start a new thread for this discussion.
The main purpose of the original posting is not on how the strap is to be used.
