Later this month, Delkin will ship a line of SDHC cards specified to deliver up to 95MB/s read and 80MB/s write speeds, and has already released a USB 3.0 card reader that accepts CompactFlash, SD/SDHC/SDXC and several other memory card formats. The Elite 633 SDHC UHS-1 series will come in 8GB, 16GB and 32GB capacities; their official speed rating suggests they'll be the fastest SD-format cards available, by a wide margin, in devices that can take advantage of their throughput potential. The USB 3.0 Universal Memory Card Reader, which is shipping now, is the first USB 3.0 reader to emerge from a name brand accessory maker and promises quicker card-to-computer transfers than a USB 2.0 reader when copying photos from speedier memory cards.
