but then again, isn't our problem now that we do not have enough GOALS!!
and we need GOALS, which equate to a good striker....??

but a good striker may not be a good team player....

    ahhhh..... conflicts conflicts!

wah, suddenly a whole flood of posts.
i think we need midfielders more than strikers leh. if you watch our matches, we seem to lack the ability tocreate good openings against a determined opponent. if we give em enough chances, baros and moro or even mellor can put them away. that i'm sure.

True. Baros and Morientes are the best strikers. Still have one injuried Ciise. But no one assist and support them.

    isn't posts good?
means that people are interested in this board...

    true true about the midfielders...

but we don't convert our chances well too...

too many posts later become LFC II, like the sentosa thread no lah, was just surprised. went away a bit after posting and came back saw so many posts

if i had a choice, we'd need one forward, preferably a more creative one like litmanen last time, a right winger, a creative central midfielder as a backup to gerrad and alonso and a centreback. aimar, routledge, van der vaart and mexes would do nicely

true lor, we don't convert them well yet but even the best strikers miss. give em enough chances and they'll score. look at andy cole, miss so many can still score so many. and the more they score, the more confident they get, the less they miss. i think we have good strikers in baros, morientes and cisse. even pongolle was turning out well.

    BUT

this is NOT an ideal world, so even if man utd started their own thread, i'm sure there'll be people going in there to talk bad about man utd.

for a real life example! see the nikon and canon threads...

sometimes even simple and innocent discussions about equipments can lead to a blow out war regarding brands!

so, even if we have separate threads for each and every team, if people don't change, things won't change!
Thats true. Thats why when i see name calling like manure or real kuniangs, i just ignore. I can simply start a war of words using liverfool or liverpoo but dun want la. Name calling is not nice and too childish.

    Liverpool is Liverpool
    Man Utd is Man Utd.

I hope the concentrate on CL and the league rather than the league cup.

    well...name calling is one thing.

wait till u wear a liverpool jersey into manchester..and see the amount of insults u get from them.

remember the time when manUTD's website put up the faces of benitez and our 4 then new spanish players and ridicule them, making racist comments?

    that..is outright despicable!

but i think i rest my case.
Confidence is thinking you'll be Champions, arrogance is stating it.

what's all the hooha over manutd in this thread?

now back to main topic... LIVERPOOL!!!
the party's over and so, we have the rich Chelski in the carling cup final.

its not a dream date but its pretty much anticipated but then again its still quite a shock that manutd lost at old trafford. but anyway, the best team won that night.

let's hope Liverpool makes the most out of it!!

    go LIVERPOOL!!!!!!!

No way should Liverpool buy Criag Bellamy!! He is too arrogant for Liverpool and for his own good. He is one of the most self centered player in EPL and buying him will create discord among the players and managers.

CRIAG BELLAMY IS ONE BIG MISTAKE. BUY HIM AT YOUR OWN RISKS!!!!!
