    Default Grain, digitally

I wish to know what is the best way to insert (film-like) grain into a b&w photo via PS? The obvious way would be thru the 'Add Noise' effect. If so, what percentage is good? I mean, how much before it actually becomes visible (intended) in, say a 4R print?
