    Thanks Felix.

To sidetrack a bit, there are many ways you can improve your photography and PP is one of them. To do it properly, you need to invest time to learn, invest money in software as well as a good monitor etc. I know a lot of people who will complain at the cost of software and the monitor but frankly to me its small in comparison to buying a new lens, and it may have a larger effect on the end product than a new lens.

With regards to PP I was greatly inspired by the first workshop that Creampuff gave, I went to source for a copy of lightroom straightaway and never looked back! He should do more of them!

To return to the discussion - I feel there really isn't a HUGE difference in terms of image quality between the sigma and the fa77, you get more bokeh with one, and slightly better contrast and a much smaller size with the other.

why got D700 one ?? Can i post some also...

anyway the FA85mm on a APC can produce the same bokeh if you believe me... did a test before K20 + FA85 with D700 + AFD85f1.4.... same FOV bokeh almost same... so can imagaine what FA85 on FF look like... but i still choose FA77 over FA85... go figure...

I use photoshop as well in conjunction with lightroom, can't live without either!

I don't agree necessarily. There is actually a significant difference between the 77 & 85. The Sigma has much higher contrast, can capture much more fine details and focus faster & more accurately. In a nutshell, I find it easier to produce a better pic with the 85 than the 77.

Th FA 85 is really very intriguing to me, perhaps because its so rare and I have never tried it. Still, the lens that makes me the most frustrated about Pentax's lack of a digital full frame is the FA 31....
