Whats the Nikon alternative for a Canon IS S1 or Minolta Z3?
What Nikon model will go buck for buck against the model above?

Isn't the 8700 a direct competitor of the Pro1? Not the S1 IS? I don't think Nikon has a superzoom model yet...
