Hey, wonder if anyone can recommend a TC for 7Hi.
Specs maybe 1.5x and above, no vignetting effects, no brand preference, price as low as possible... Haha Thanks in advance... Last edited by wenx; 15th August 2004 at 02:11 AM. |

Yah, I heard of that TC as well. So for me, I have to get an adapter to fit the TC right? So, how much will an adapter and a TC cost each?
Reli thanks for helping out... seems like my Qn is a bit too amateurish... Ha. |

You will have to get a step-up ring as most TCs have a bigger thread size than 49 mm which is the front thread size of the 7hi.
A step-up ring should cost you about $10 as I bought mine, a 49-62 step-up ring, at about $8. As for the TC, I think they would be priced in the region of $100 and more depending on the brand. |

See http://konicaminolta.com/products/co...e-a2/10_5.html The two converters ( A tele and a wide) fit the entire family - and updated firmware is supplied, although for the D7i it appears all the firmware update does is put 'converter' menu item into the system that tells the camera to ignore the macro lock switch - it becomes a simple mechanical lock to keep the converter in full zoom (or full wide) depending on what converter you are using. I'm hoping that places like Cathay actually stock this thing.... |
