Some very constructive comments above.

I would say finish up the final print with some adjustment of the tones around the man's face. It looks very under and featureless. If that's what you want fine. But a good print would do this picture justice.

HCB rolls over in his grave... talk about the definitive moment.

Tell me it's not posed...

That's a GREAT shot! Exellent timing

How do you do that? You spotted the scene and snapped or visioned it and hoped and waited for someone to pass by (with the twist movement being a bonus)?

Sorry if this sound a bit stupid to ask.

thanks for all the comments and encouragement everyone!

just to share some thoughts that went b4, during and after the shot;

"set oly c4k digicam to manual focus, prefocused at 3m to minimise shutter lag, B&W, program mode"

(walkabout little india)

"darn, lunch time shoot almost over, still no passable shot yet"

"why not try the outside of tekka market (again)"

"hmm...that twisties ad next to the bus stop looks interesting, what if someone was *caught* under those open fingers?"

(10 unsuccessful shots and 10 mins later)

"look at the way that indian man is walking towards the ad, he would make an interesting subject"

"ok...only got one shot at this...better get the timing right"

"whew... that was lucky (his twisted gait was a bonus)"

the shot is good

but why is it in portrait ?

the tonality of the shot doesn't do it justice.

do some more PS work to it.
