Unhappy help, i need help and advise for epl-1 badly.

Hi everyone, i am very new in DSLR. so i need some advise for my epl-1.

recently my epl-1 lens 14-42mm was damage due to an accident and the damage of the 14-42mm lens was so bad till it cannot be use anymore, but luckily god bless me my epl-1 body got not a single damage at all. so i was planning to get a new lens for my epl-1. but i got totally no idea which lens should i take.

for your information, i would like to use the lens to take toy figures, buildings, portraits and street candid. so i hope with all the info i provided, the experts here could advise me on which lens to buy. budget is about $200-$400.

i would appreciate any advise and help from all the experts. THANKS!!

With your budget, I think you can get the same lens back, can try panasonic though, I heard from my friends that you can get 14-45mm lens at arolund $400 at Song Brothers Funan outlet.
(: nothing is good or bad - it's just how you look at it :)

i hear the 20mm pancake lens is very good.
plus makes the camera very compact.
depends on how much need the zoom.

or the new 14-42 Mk II MSC by olympus.. silent af..good for video..
but as some posters above said, if you dont need the zoom.. m.zuiko 17mm / f2.8 or the panny 20mm/f1.7 are great walkaround lenses..
