Default Fireworks Shooting locations [REF]

Hi all,

I have been looking for the best locations to shoot the Fireworks festival. Browsing through the forum I have compiled the following. Hope it is useful to some of you.

Sorry I don't have server space to host this so this is a link to a forum that has image upload.

BTW I checked and the esplanade roof is closed for this event :P Safety concerns.

Also weather forecast is thunderstorms in the afternoon and clear at night. In addition the windy will be South or South Easterly. So avoid the Marina bay area and maybe shears bridge because of smoke.

Goodluck all.

last week the wind was blowing towards esplanade so it was good to be on the shears bridge

if the wind going to blow south, may be got to go elsewhere liao

anyway, have you read 2.4.2 of this?

I think you have the wind direction wrong. Doesn't southerly winds mean the wind is coming from the south.

Correct - A Southerly wind means a wind that is coming from the South. I always remember this since I lived in Kent in UK. We used to get wicked North-Easterly winds which would bring cold weather from Russia. Was so cold!!
