Default National Stadium gone forever ? .....

Hey.. heard it on news last night ..we will see the last of our National Stadium soon. So, how many of us are capturing this part of Singapore on film/ digital ?

Believe it or not, it was officially opened in 1973 !!! more than 30 years liao ... heard they are building a modern stadium complex in replacement

Anyone knows when it will be officially closed ??? Better get there to shoot before it turns into a pile of rubble

Long long overdue ........ maybe Singapore gonna bid for Asian Games in the future? The should build more specialised international-std Stadiums and really nice parks in the new reclaimed land instead of all those food courts, massage health centres, seafood steamboat restaurants, etc... the Stadiums can last for about 20 years and then when soil oredi stabilised then you reap the reward with tall building in yr 2050!
    always the Light, .... always.

If the present one cannot even be half-filled for an 'exciting' soccer match, then i say even if new stadium or transplant Old Trafford to Kallang, it's still no use. It'll be a white elephant. There goes tax-payers' $$$ again....
