    Default ND and GND Filter

    Hi fellows,
recently i just bought a nd110 filter... didnt really like the color it produce.
anyway i was wondering is there any possible ways to use a GND filter ( slot ) type and ND filter ( screw in ) type together.
did i need to DIY anything?

Buy the Cokin type mount and bracket for the slot type GND filter like you mentioned.

If you have the tian ya holder, just screw the 110 filter to the lens, followed by your holder bracket mount. Then slot in your tian ya filter, you are able to use already.

ND110 is not supposed to produce color, but because of the extreme nature of the filter, there is IR leakage and the color becomes warmer. Easily removable color cast if you shoot in RAW.

Of course you can stack GND + ND, I do that all the time. Do note that you will have vignetting if you use UWA at 10mm.

Just use the ND110, then screw in the ring. If you using UWA please note that you should use the UWA filter holder, and then slot in the GND filter.

The vignetting you meant was for the GND or ND?

Can be done, but the one time I did this with the B+W ND110 and Tianya GND, there was pretty serious colour cast over half the pic due to the Tianya having less IR leakage than the ND110. There's no quick way to fix this through WB changes, probably need some careful work in PS to get a colour-correct result, I didn't try. Or else can convert the pic to black and white and the colour cast won't be an issue.
My photos - see just some or all of it =)
