Default Using DSLR Movie mode as Viewcam for Laptop

Is this possible? for DSLR like D7000, 60D. Purpose is to do a live conference.

Or do i have to use a video camcorder(semi-pro/pro)? my sony handycam doesn't seem to be able to do it.

The HDMI output on my Sony DSLR was able to do it...

But... Why??? What's wrong with a $40 webcam? Your internet bandwidth would need to be top-notch to handle the video feed from a DSLR. Webcams are optimized for internet bandwidth.

Your sensor will heat up and the cam will auto shut down after a while.
