    Hi, juz got into photography...

Juz wanna ask, when i use my Nikon D80 and use my onboard flash at manual mode, i cant seem to set my shutterspeed past 1/200... is there a way to override the capped shutterspeed beyond 1/200?

Please check your manual about flash functions, especially "High Speed Sync" function of flash. It's explained there.

Why would you want to do that? Google for flash photography instructions and read well. Unless you like half exposed shots.

You need a very fast shutter speed in order to reduce the exposure in a brightly-lit scene.
    Coupled with fill flash.
That's why high-speed sync is beneficial
    Exploring! :)
