ext tube is not a tc. it a round round hollow thingy that helps u in magnification.

Super detail.

Hi Dragon Expert,
Have question about Dragon's eyes. Why are the compound eyes of dragons usually darker or coloured at the top of the eyes?

There is some light loss, but depending on how "short" your ext tube is, the loss may be insignificant. Beware if u use multiple ext tubes as it may reduce 0.5 - 1 stop.

Yongcheng, wanted to join you but always busy. If I were to use my Tamron 90 mm and put a 2 x tc plus an 25 mm extension tube, would that be the same as your setup for this shot. Thanks.

as for ur mentioned setup. i think there might be some quality loss from ur 90mm macro. but can always experiment and shoot a few and share with us
