guess the floor is too close (to the bird) ... hard to get a shallow DOF. cute bird though

That's the common sparrow right?

Shallower DOF in such an instance, probably need something like 200 f2.

Hi guys ,

Thanks for your comments . I faced difficulties in getting a shallow DOF at such close distance to the ground, almost had myself laying on the ground when taking this shots (left my minipod at home).This fella is less than 7cm stand and is the only birdie among its group that dare to come close. As a reward for its cooperation, I feed it with some of my roti. Glad that you all also find this fella cute.

Hi 2100,

I don't whether it's belong the sparrow family. But these little brown birds are commonly found in our neigbourhood areas especially hawker centers.
