Default Sodium Hyposulphite

hi,

I found a sack about 20kg of raw sodium hyposulphite which i believe is for mixing Fixer.
Does anyone know the dilution for this chemical?

thanks~!

Plain hypo ... formula #83
water ... 2liters
Hypo 480grams
can be used to fix a print in 30 secs
but has poor keeping qualities
and must be used with a acid stopbath or staining might occur
do not use/keep overnight hypo.

btw, it calls for Sodium Thiosulfate, not Hyposulphite
which i think Hyposulphite is the old name ?
thats where the name Hypo comes from right ?
Care to break up the 20kg and sell some ?

Geezz! I'm getting rusty with all these stuff.... goes to show how long I've never been to the darkroom.

Guess I have to go refresh myself.... sorry sidetracked!

If I remember correctly, I use to use Hypo for fixing films, it's just that the dilution ratios are different from prints. Let me check out and see if I can get back to you on it or any gurus around who could comment?
